Tom Rowley – Very intimate show at Sidney & Matilda

Going it alone for the first time, Tom Rowley stands as one of the finest musicians to emerge from Sheffield’s remarkable generation of talent. A cornerstone of the city’s music scene for two decades, he’s best known for his work with Arctic Monkeys, co-writing portions of Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino and The Car, and joining the band on two world tours as a long-time touring member.

A founding member and songwriter with Sheffield indie royalty Milburn, the band he started at just 14, Rowley has also written and performed with Reverend & The Makers and countless others. Widely regarded as the musician’s musician in the Steel City, his fingerprints can be found all over Sheffield’s modern sound.

This December, he steps into the spotlight for an intimate Christmas show at Sidney & Matilda a rare chance to catch one of Sheffield’s most quietly influential artists up close.
