A synthetic reimagining of the woes and joys attributed to the historical boy we know as Oliver Twist. This event marks the release of the album ‘Part I: A Poor Boy’s Progress’ by Shooting Tzars Records. Set to a backdrop of electronics and drum machines; expect romance and passion, villains and crime, twists and turncoats. This experience will leave you questioning everything you have ever known, help uncover Shakespeare’s lies and lead you closer to discovering the protagonist’s true identity. Oliver has recently been performing and recording music with an array of acts such as The Moonlandingz, Cabaret Voltaire, Acid Klaus, DIMITRI Himself and many more.
Support comes from Karl D’Silva. Alt-pop songs about love, hope, fear and darkness in the modern world, with one arm stretched backwards into the mystical past and the other lurching toward an increasingly dystopian future. His debut album ‘Love Is A Flame In The Dark’ was released to critical acclaim and was named an album of the year in both The Wire Magazine and The Guardian end of year lists for 2024.
