Mannequin Death Squad are a two-piece, one girl & one boy indie rock band from Melbourne. The duo has toured extensively across Australia and the UK since their inception in 2015. The two have shared the stage with many including: Frenzal Rhomb, British India, Slaves (UK), Amyl and the Sniffers and WAAX to name a few.
With an EP released in 2016 and multiple video clips having followed, the fiercely independent duo are gearing up to release their debut album. Mixing catchy pop melodies with ferocious punk rock riffs, Mannequin Death Squad have left a trail of enthusiastic and passionate fans in their wake.
In 2022 Mannequin Death Squad are stepping it up a notch or three. A chance meeting with legendary Australian producer, Mark Opitz (INXS, ACDC, The Angels, Divinyls), has led the band recently to record their debut album produced by themselves alongside Mr. Opitz. The album is to be released late September 2022 and will be supported by live shows in Australia and a return to the UK in August.
